Thousands turned out to watch history in the making, as both Orlando City Soccer Club officials and local dignitaries broke ground on Orlando's first professional soccer stadium, on Oct. 14, 2014. Fans gathered at Church Street late Thursday afternoon and marched in procession to the site of the groundbreaking, located on the northwest corner of Church Street and Parramore Avenue.
